Let's talk about LOVE.

So these past few days, I’ve been having a conversation with the people I’m close with about their LOVE life. I won’t give/name names or go into details about them because I love them and respect their privacy. But after hearing all their stories, I was inspired even more to write this post.

Some people experienced the “IF” kind of love where their relationships based upon future expectations. “I will love you IF you are this and that…”, “I will love you IF you have this and that…”, “I will love you IF you do this and that…”, and “I will love you IF this happens or that happens…” this is what “IF” kind of love says. One major reason of failed marriages is mainly because they have this kind of love.

Also, there are some people who experienced the “BECAUSE OF” kind of love. This kind of love demands things to stay the same when it is impossible because all things here on earth are just temporary. “I will love you because you are now financially stable”, “I will love you because you are now famous”, and “I will love you because you now have this and that…”. Tthis is what “BECAUSE OF” kind of love says. The “BECAUSE OF” kind of love is based upon the current status of one person and most of the time teenagers experiences this kind of love.

Lastly, the “INSPITE OF”kind of love. It is the kind of love that is unconditional. It is the kind of LOVE that GOD loves us with. The love that can forgive, forget, and accept INSPITE OF everything. I MEAN EVERYTHING!

I John 4:7-21

Dear Friends, let us love one another, for LOVE COMES FROM GOD. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know Go, because GOD is LOVE. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Dear Friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. NO one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.”

God answers in three ways: Yes, No, or Wait. He will say "YES" if things are meant for us. "NO" if it’s NOT for us. "WAIT" if we’re not ready to receive it yet, maybe because there are things we must learn first before anything else. For whatever love situation you are in right now, one thing is for sure GOD LOVES YOU! Learn to THANK HIM, OBEY HIM, and WAIT for HIS will for you. He knows you and what you need. Pray for it!

It’s awesome to hear stories from different people with different perspective because I get to learn things from their experiences. And I'm blessed and amazed how God works and creates love stories for His children. Thank JESUS for loving me INSPITE OF EVERYTHING! I LOVE YOU DADDY! You are my true love!

I John 2:4-5

"The man who says, "I know imk," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did."
